Callan Bentley will be leading three walking tours of Washington, DC’s bedrock geology on:
Sign up through the Smithsonian Associate program: $29 for members, $34 for general admission. The tours are 3½ hours, meeting at the corner of Adams Mill Road and Harvard St., in the small triangular grassy park across from the Harvard Towers apartment building (adjacent to Zoo bridge over Beach Drive). This tour requires approximately 2½ miles of walking and standing on sidewalks and unpaved forest trails.
