There will be a departmental colloquium this week on Friday at 2:00pm in room PLS 1130 (Plant Science building).
The speaker will be our own Saswata Hier-Majumder from the University of Maryland. He will present: Melt detection, retention, and distribution in the deep Earth. The department will host a reception in the Geology Museum (GEO 2118) immediately following the seminar.
This is the first of a new series of presentation by members of the department who are up for a promotion.
