Eye On the Storm

October 7th at 6pm in the Baird Auditorium, Dr. Isaac Ginis, Professor of Oceanography at University of Rhode Island’s Graduate School of Oceanography, presents “Eye On the Storm: Predicting a Hurricane’s Path of Destruction” at the National Museum of Natural History (Smithsonian Institution).  An interesting talk about how scientists model and predict the track of a hurricane.  Free and open to the public.
