David Walker

“What Could Make the Core Leak?”

David Walker is the Higgins Professor of Earth and Environmental Sciences at Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University. Through novel experiments, Dave seeks to understand the chemical and physical evolution of the terrestrial planets. He is a member of the National Academy of Sciences and has been awarded the Clarke Medal (1975), the Day Medal (1994), and the Hess Medal (2010).
